Administrator's Office

The County Administrator's Office is responsible for the daily operations of the County government. The Administrator serves as advisor to the Board of Supervisors, keeping them informed of the condition of the County, serves as the point of contact for citizens regarding questions about their government, and supervises all County departments. The Administrator is also responsible for the development of a budget to be presented to the Board of Supervisors.

The County Administrator's Office directly oversees the:

  • Zoning Department

The Mecklenburg County Administrator also serves as the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, coordinating meetings, developing an Agenda, preserving the minutes and records of the Board, liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the School Board, and properly advertising all meetings.
